...The Rookery

Here are just a handful of the nests in the rookery at the bottom of the garden. We have dozens and dozens of rooks.

You may have heard me rant before now on this particular matter.
The bonnet and roof of my car can also testify to that.

Just what do rooks eat, for heavens sake... or even rooks sake, for that matter?!

And they're off... the breeding season has already started... it being March to April and will produce 3 to 9 eggs in a single clutch.

Between 3 and 9 eggs!!!! Arrrggghhhh....!!!


Does anybody have a really, really, really long ladder...?

I just want to move them somewhere else, that's all!
