Lovely Weather For Seagulls.

A wet start to today, then the clouds were blown out over the North Sea by a strong gusting wind which just kept on blowing. Seagulls love that kind of weather and above our street several dozen put on an amazing aerobatic display this afternoon.

Riding the air currents, side slipping at unbelievable speed , swooping down then back up. And occasionally displaying serious attitude when a mid-air collision was only just avoided.

This is one of those seagulls, in mid manoevre. The only frame with a seagull in it from ten minutes of clicking.

A rubbish photo I know but it will always remind me of a rather special ten minutes watching some rather special birds.
