cookies!

For a colleague. For his birthday. And only a few for me.
Another new-found respect...those who can photograph food well. It's really not as easy as those good photographers make it look. But I will persist in my efforts because I love to cook and some of the food that I cook up (either before or after) is quite a sight! Or a mess. Depending on the day, recipe, ingredients... Cookies, on the other hand - only a mess when flour hops out of the stand-up mixer. Otherwise, pure deliciousness.
