no place like home
As you can see, the tent is all packed up nice and neat and tidy!
Honestly, the Monstrosity 2000 is bloody bloody hard to fold up and put away. We aired it when we got home last night and then shoved it in Arlo's room.
Never do today what you can put off till tomorrow I think the saying goes!
Camping was brilliant. We ended up on a proper site (which is NOT my bag at all, normally) but it was a quiet one and right by the sea which meant that the ground wasn't muddy at all and actually, it was quite nice. No camp fire though, which just goes against everything I believe in about camping, but it was fine. The weather was like this:
Friday - rained all the way where we were headed, stopped for putting up the tent, rained like crazy for 1/2 an hour, stopped completely. Nice!
Saturday - sunny & cloudy and a bit windy all day - pretty much perfect for beach combing and sitting about
Sunday - windy as hell for putting hooge tent put away. Black Pudding rolls made it all the more easy...
Oh it was just lovely to be in the tent again. Arlo was snug as a bug and I didn't worry about him as much this time which is great.
I love camping. I love it, I love it so.
Have backblipped if yer interested....
