back-blipped

Amelie and I were up early and off to the swimming pool today. She was excited the whole way there and then disappointed because we had to go in a different end of the pool because the ladies were doing aquaerobics! She desperately wanted to join in. In fact when we got out she did attempt it whilst showering! We got dressed and had our shivery bite in the seating area in reception and then we walked to the park for half an hour. Amelie insisted on her doll having a shot on the swing too! Today she impressed me by climbing over a 'dangerous' frame thing to the slide on the other side. Last time she tried it she was very wary but did it with my help and today she just went for it, I was ready to catch her if she fell but she didn't need me. And she did well on the big girls swing too!

We then walked to my Grans for lunch and she fell asleep in the buggy literally on the doorstep! So my Gran and I enjoyed lunch in peace, and Amelie slept for almost three hours! I wouldn't usually leave her that long but I think she is having a growth spurt and needed it.
