Still here at due date plus one day!

Today we have pottered about in the flat, tidying and playing. Amelie was dressed pretty early but she opted to undress and join me in a late shower before getting dressed again. Its gone cold again here and this is her trying to stay warm after getting out! I had a shot of her laughing but this was more representative of the moment! After lunch we went out for a cuppa and a cake in Waitrose Cafe. Amelie chose a gold medal gingerbread biscuit and a glass of milk and I had a cup of decaf (it was quite horrible actually, I'll stick with peppermint next time I'm there) and a pecan yum yum. The yum yum was yummy (!) but a little bit on the big side. I remember we used to sell them in the M&S cafe when I worked there and they were called pecan twists. They were a bit smaller and less sickly. Perhaps I'll stick to M&S pecan yum yums in the future...

Oh look at me reviewing my Waitrose Cafe experience. Clearly I am fed up waiting for baby. Today Amelie said ''Maybe the baby is never going to get here''. I totally understand how she feels, it was so long ago we told her and she has been so patient even though she doesn't really have a clue what is in store (well, not fully!) and when it might happen.

When we got home we did some rhymes and songs from one of her books and now we are watching cbeebies, waiting for Daddy to get home.
