An open crocus flower .

I was on my way home from visiting a friend.
I had walked alongside the park and photographed some of the beech trees. as there was still blue sky and sunlight pouring from the sky at 4 o'clock.
Yet I decided on this small striped violet co;lour crocus flower for my blip today.
I love the markings and the fact it has opened so fully to the sun , as if to say it has given its all.
Small is beautiful.
