Colour Heaven

I found some gorgeous edible cake decorations. They compliment these coffee cups so perfectly.

These cups were produced by 'Aynsley', and make up a set of eight, all of them different in colour. They belonged to my grandmother and I have always loved them. I've just checked their history on-line and discovered that they were made in 1885. This means that they were most probably a wedding present given to my great grandparents. I'd better forget using these for high days and holidays - in fact, I can't believe that I've actually ever used them at all! My sister Sheenagh is about to rap me across the knuckles...


This evening I had a long conversation with Russell who's in Nairobi where he came across the actress Connie Nielson, who starred in the film Gladiator. He's leaving for Jerusalem tomorrow and after that, China on a very important assignment.
