Day_06 Crossing the big river

Today was to be a big day and we weren't disappointed. First of all we descended to about 4200m into a big ravine. We trekked along the bank, having to do a bit of scrambling, I must admit I had a bit of a knee trembling moment during one scramble. After crossing the river, we climbed about 1000m to the campsite. It was hard due to the atmosphere and when we got near the top of the climb the rain came on and it got pretty cold. I didn't drink enough water during the day and got a bit sick from dehydration and altitude. But hey, you've got to suffer to see the good stuff.
