The bright espresso cups

It is a quickie blip tonight.

Our espresso machine has been playing up recently and then finally ground to a halt. It had served us really well and its demise prompted Helena to search for a good replacement, which led to an offer of a secondhand machine from our local Freegle community. We picked it up on Monday and it works very well.

Whilst searching for coffee machines she came upon these espresso cups, which we loved as soon as they arrived a couple of days ago. They don't have handles and are picked up using the central black band of insulating material.

I thought they would make a colourful blip on a dull, grey Friday. Another time I might fill one with steaming black coffee covered in a rich crema and then show you it.
