Fortune Teller

BJ had today off, we took advantage and did some shopping, ran errands and went to lunch. When the fortune cookies came with our bill, I took the first and read my fortune - pretty generic and not so interesting. BJ doesn't care for the cookies, but enjoys the fortune. Today's blip is what he found inside. He read it aloud to me and I chuckled, passed it off and said, now tell me what it really says.

The irony of this fortune is that moments before recieving the bill, we were talking about MiMi Corson. When she ate at this very chinese restaurant she would share a volcano bowl with whoever she was with. We joked about sharing one together in her honor. In many ways, I believe she is responsible for BJ's fortune, as she believed in us and in our marriage. After today's lunch, we'll be sure to honor her on her birthday, inviting the rest of the family to dinner and toast to Mimi and her memory!
