Shh, there's a Turkey is my sights....

We took the kids out to lunch at the Olive Garden, then hit Dick's Sporting Goods to purchase a youth shotgun for Kaylee (and Colby) for the upcoming turkey season. Waiting for BJ to finish the paperwork involved in the purchase, the kids found creative ways to entertain themselves. Their "rifles" are camoflauge umbrellas, and yes, are aimed at turkey's... decoys, perched above the display racks, still turkey's none the less. The camo-cover they're peeking out of is mesh wrap to skirt around your tree stand. At first I wasn't impressed that they were climbing in and out of the racks, then I chuckled at their creativity and applauded their efforts. We had other kiddos, walking by with their parents, giving my kids envious looks. I've gotta admit, they made good use of their time - and created a fun blip for today!
