Dog Tired

Poor Basil. We took the dogs over the border into Surrey today for a change of scene and a walk round the Devil's Punchbowl. Oddly, given it's a ten minute drive away, it was probably the first time I'd been there for a walk for more than 15 years! It's great there now the A3 goes through the Hindhead Tunnel instead of alongside the car park and cafe. Anyway, it ended up being quite a long walk and at times I resorted to carrying Basil as he looked so knackered! Here he is trying to have a rest on a bench only to find, not for the first time, that his legs are just that little bit too short. Large
