Another day, another bird

A female house sparrow, I believe, doing its best to confuse me by spending all its time in the hedge, which ought to make it a hedge sparrow aka dunnock, if you ask me.

A very pleasant Sunday starting with a lie-in with my Kindle (The Language of Flowers), which I was also reading at 4 am this morning due to insomnia (or sleeping in segments, as it's now known). I then took the dogs for a nice walk and afterwards my Mum and Dad came over for a delicious Sunday lunch of roast rib of beef followed by lemon souffle.
