change is in the air

Forecast was for snow in the morning and warm sun in the afternoon - so far we have gotten a bit of rain, clouds, and some sun breaking through.

I think that describes my mood today too - I expected a hard morning cleaning the house and getting ready for a trip followed by a sense of excitement for said trip. Well it just hasn't been that cut and dried - I still have some unfinished business to do but have had some bright spots along the way.

And one of those bright spots was going outside for my blip walk and finding this little bird happily nestled in the bush catching some rays!
