Flying Cod

The Hermod is busy with the last remaining items to be removed from the jacket. Last week I wrote that the support frame will also be removed. This is not true. Only a couple of caissons have to be removed and then this job is finished for this season. Next year we will be back. While standing by the Hermod, a fisherman from Peterhead, Scotland, passed us. I asked if he had some fresh cod on board. 'No problem' was his reply, come alongside. He gave us thirteen real big ones. Actually you can't call it giving, it was more flying to our aft deck. PD-182, thank you very much, everybody will enjoy your catch here on board. They were still alive, so how fresh do you want it.
