Oban

Caught the train from Glasgow to Oban early this morning. Not long after leaving Taynult the train suddenly stopped. There was a stag lying in the middle of the railway track. Saw 2 more stags on the hillside as we passed.

Walked along the coast road south after leaving the train. Saw a shag with a tuft on its head, then later saw a cormorant. Came to the small ferry that takes you over to the island of Kererra. Walked up a public right of way along the top of the cliffs and back into Oban.
