let there be light...

...and there was light! A cool light and sunlight coming from behind. I did not take enough pictures today to have enough to really choose from, and I would have taken this one differently had I been able to see it on my computer screen. Alas, it is what it is.
My walk tonight reminded me that I must take a picture of the mountain laurel soon before these grape Koolaid trees fade away with the coming heat...I can feel it...
