Super Sake

Here's the base of a huge sake bowl made in the 1970s, about 1m in diameter. It's used as the women's trophy in the varsity judo match. I lost my fight, but men and women's A won overall, so there was still reason to celebrate! Afterwards we went to a meal with the Cambridge lot, and I reminisced with my earlier opponent over a pint. Charming.
