The first brick

Two months ago my world was turned upside down and changed forever. This week the rebuilding process has begun and the first brick has been laid.

I will never comprehend what has happened and never truly understand the reasons why, but I'm not prepared to be a victim and there is far too much at stake to dwell on the past. My path in life has been changed, but now I know I'm heading down it with two amazing little people by my side and although I don't yet know the route I know I'm heading for a place called happiness.
