Dropping in for lunch.
Bit of a misty day, but still mild. (At least for us Northeners!)
We are making the most of the wonderful fresh fish down here, so off to Newlyn again. This time for pollock.
Love looking round the harbour.
This photo was taken in Mousehole.Lovely at this time of year when it is not full of tourists.
Two small boats had just come in and they were gutting the fish before bringing it ashore. Suddenly the sky was filled with the noisy gulls as they threw the bits overboard!
It was like a scene from the Hitchcock film "The Birds"!
In the afternoon we visited another garden.
Trengwainton. A National Trust garden near Penzance.
Another beautiful garden with champion magnolias and rhododendrons.Giant tree ferns, and a walled kitchen garden built in 1820.
We came to Cornwall at this time of year partly because I wanted to see the magnolias and I haven't been disappointed. In fact they have been more amazing than I would could have dreamed off.
