Old MacDonald

Hubby took a half day from work today and we arranged to meet at Ikea for lunch and a look round. When I suggested to H that we meet Daddy for lunch, she piped up, "Yes, at Old MacDonald had a farm"? Hmm, no darling, it's just meatballs at Ikea. But I did promise her a treat of ice-cream at "Old MacDonalds" if she was a good girl.

She enjoyed running around Ikea, and we bought a lovely soft cuddly rabbit as a present for the new baby. H picked a dog for herself. The only slight incident was when H fell through the back of her chair at lunch and stoated her head on the hard floor. Brave girl that she was, the tears only lasted a minute - the chairs really are a daft design!

Afterwards, we went to McDonalds for promised ice-cream, and then home for some fun in the garden (well, H and Daddy had fun, whilst I had a short nap). I am 41 weeks pregnant today and suffering a lot of pain - not long to go!
