The Mighty Clutha

This is the Clutha River that runs out of Lake Wanaka. The Boss had wanted to have another go with this after our walk on Monday so we drove back after lunch (his not mine) and took the shortcut to Rieko's Point which shortened the trip. ( I should point out that I don't have lunch. This is spelt out in The Bosses statement that "Dogs Don't Do Lunch" Well he is entitled to his view but I would if I could so there!
In a few weeks or less this will be a blasé of colour as everything turns yellow and gold so stand by for another blip later. The turning date for the colour is always debated and often does vary a lot depending on rainfall and other factors. By the end of March things are usually looking good but different areas can and do vary.
