This *might* be the longest corridor in Europe (about a fifth of a mile long).

It *might* be true that the kink in the middle is the result of builders starting at either end and then realising their calculations were off and the two ends weren't going to meet.

Or these might be urban myths.

Either way, it's long. Very long and with the right footwear, the floor covering makes a pleasingly squeaky noise :-)
