look what the cat...

...left behind. Amy adopted a cat who spent the night with me/us last night. And I had this toy left over from a cat that I thought was going to be mine (long story) so Amy's new cat (who has a name that she's changing so he's currently sort of nameless) got to play with it last night. Suffice to say that it entertained the very young cat for, oh, well, 2 minutes. So much for a bright blue mouse with feathers for a tail dangling from a doorknob for an entertainment source for a kitty. Evidently he's more high tech because he was entertained by the laser pointer at the animal shelter for nearly 30 minutes. I sort of was, too.
