Any Gum in a Storm

Now that summer's out of the way, autumn has brought the sun.

Until this afternoon.

This old gum in our backyard was whipping around about in the wind as the sky grew dark and grey, before the thunder started - not that it seems to have come to anything. I rather liked the look of it as it caught the fading light against the ominous grey sky. This was the first, and best, of the few shots I took, as it had more of the light on the branches.
