i'm not quite sure what happened to the day. maybe that's a good sign.

my fridge and my desk are both indicators of how i organise my mind....

i do remember sitting knitting quite a bit - watching carpetbiter2 play tennis and, in a rare moment, while catching up on the delights of 'dancing on ice' on the telly.

both the dreaded nintendo ds and the tamagotchis were confiscated from carpetbiter1 after electronic gaming consumed her brain to the point of oblivion (and only after a very short time in both cases).

carpetbiter2 was distracted from watching tv but it's still his first point of resort if there is any sort of lull in the non-stop round of activities.
him 'can i watch tv?'
me 'try and think of something else'
him 'tv is what i am thinking of'

the kids went down the road to a mini birthday party and had lots of fun - in my more negative moments, i am convinced carpetbiter2 would quite like to move in to that household.
