Think of a number ...............

When I was young, I can recall working out what year I would be 21 , then 30 then 40 ........... and then I stopped . 40 was a lifetime away , a huge number , I would be a dinosaur by then , well past my sell by date . In those childhood days, a year was an eternity , spring was punctuated with a birthday, Easter swiftly followed, the Summer holidays went on for ever , and then the excitement of Christmas to top the year off . 40 was seven years ago today................
