Day 55: Heartbreak hill (Lanarkshire)

Frankfurt has one and so too does Lanarkshire!! One of the most amazing racing experiences an amateur like me can have, is riding on heartbreak hill in Frankfurt. Imagine a long hill going through a small town. Imagine that there are 100's of people lining the road with just enough space for 1 rider, and even then it only opens up just as you approach. Everyone is cheering you on, rattles, hooters and drums. It's a completely unbelievable experience.

As you can see Lanarkshire's version has some way to go in terms of support but it made me smile.
