A 'Lucky' Day

Fraz phoned me as always last night but at a later hour than his 'usual' bedtime .He had said he was going out with some friends.Eli told me she had caught him earlier and he was going out somewhere, so wasn't even expecting a call.I was ready for bed when the phone went.It was a late night call from Fraz .
MAMA:'Is that you just home?'
FRAZ:'Eh, well yeah, right outside the front door. Can you let me in?'
What a wonderful surprise but what deceitful kids I have!
Also, so so happy for Eli and Mikey, reunited in the early hours of this morning after a year apart.Spoke to them on the phone and it was---EUPHORIA!! Gave ME such a lift, never mind them.Mikey had to stop talking when he got his first glimpse of Glesgae toon.Strange after living with the unforgettable, towering New York skyline for so long. But I guess it was his first taste of the place that he classes as HOME.
Leo and Scott are meeting up with Bill today in New Orleans. for lunch, before Bill returns home on Monday.Have a lovely time gang.Love you all the world over ------and much much more!!
So, have had my boy for company today and as a result, didn't want to spend precious time taking pics.Instead, let me just wish everyone a Happy St. Paddy's Day.The best I could do for Fraz was a glass of Guinness and his favourite Chinese to celebrate.Throwing this limerick in for good measure:
There once was a shamrock named Shaun,
Whose leaves first unfurled in the dawn,
He was easily seen,
With his bright leaves of green,
Right up 'til the day he was gone.
Didn't quite manage to find a four leaf clover, so this cyclamen bud unfurling and now christened Shaun, will have to do.
*Limericks were made famous by Edward Lear, the famous author who wrote the "Book of Nonsense" in the 1800's. This was an entire book of silly limericks.
Limericks however, aren't Irish (Edward Lear was English) -- but there is a Limerick county in Ireland and they are such fun little poems.
Hope you enjoy your evening.
