Boys Will be Boys!
Had the best of Mother's Days imaginable!
Fraz arriving yesterday touched my heart.I know how demanding his workload is,so for him to take time out to travel up from London, to be here today, was more than I ever hoped for.
But it didn't stop there. While preparing to have lunch, I was engrossed in a deep conversation with Fraz about his culinary skills.I turned round, only to see Eli and Mikey standing there, totally amused by our antics. I don't know who threw their arms around who first, but several minutes later, we were still hugging. What a fantastic day this was going to be.
My gifts from the children were wonderful but nothing can compare with actually having them here with me, sharing lots of laughter and fun. This again isn' the best of photographs but it shows the spontaneity the youngsters have with each other. While enjoyong the last sun of the day in the garden, playing with the dogs, the lads decided to 'kidnap' Eli and Fraz proceeded to tie her shoe laces together, stand her up and leave her motionless.Poor lass was outnumbered.Boys will be boys!
Fraz arranged to have a days holiday tomorrow but due to developments at work over the weekend, felt he would have to return tonight.Maybe due to mama's gentle persuasion, or maybe a change of heart on his part but after dinner, he decided he would stay after all , to sample a few more home comforts and see his dad when he arrives home tomorrow.
As for Eli and Mike, it is their intention to spend a few days with us before returning to Glasgow.Life just keeps getting better.
AND--- to crown the most perfect of days, my other baby phoned from the ship just before heading off to her first performance and hubby phoned from the airport. My day was COMPLETE!!!
