End of the Pier

Half of Aberystwyth Pier was washed away in a storm in the 1930s and this stub beyond the pavilion was closed for years - but re-opened a couple of years ago. I think some of these people are waiting for the starling display (like me), the others enjoying a drink - perhaps to celebrate Wales' Grand Slam win, perhaps St Patrick's Day.

Very few starlings tonight. They must have started leaving for the summer, so I think that's it for good starling displays for this year.
