There is/are drawbacks...

...to trying to take an Al Fresco Macro.

If the subject is on a 2" stalk you'll need to lie down. If it's wet you'll need to get something to lie on.
A combination of the two above results in a disinclination to spend long on a few shots to get the focus spot on.

I did have a pun lined up, after a shot in the butcher's, something to do with how many Forequarters of beef to make a whole. Got it home only to find the forequarter out of focus and the butcher's scales perfect.

DUH?!?

Oh. And by the way that's my middle finger end, for scale.
