First day of spring.......

I couldn't let the first day of spring pass by unacknowledged without a spring theme blip.

After work I headed off to do a couple of chores then took the camera to one of my favourite local spring-time parks to go and capture some spring-i-ness.....

The park turned out to be still undergoing surgery following the huge storm we had a month or so ago - the one which ripped up or blew over many, many trees. The warning signs about unauthorised entry and threats of fines on the gates was enough to stop me!

This poor excuse for spring blossom is all I could find in the fading light, blowing wind and spitting rain....

Hardly very spring like huh?!
