It's all in the egg

After the ice was melted I had to remove nine frog corpses from our little pond in the baqckyard. They hadn't survived the 'ice time'... :(

To my pleasant surprise I found today the first frogspawn in this year! I hadn't seen or heard frogs. I spotted a couple but how patient I was, as long as I was in the neighbouhood of the pond the frogs kept hidden under the water and the plants.

Frogs' eggs only here. But there's new frogs life from today in the pond, so it deserves a place in my journal ... ;)
