We spent a glorious 5.5 hours at the local nature reserve today. There was plenty to see and enjoy. Not that we are into making lists of the birds that we see. But we have added another couple of ducks that we are now able to identify.

There were a number of great crested grebe on the various pools. We thought that this pair might treat us to a courtship dance. They seemed to show off their crests but that is as far as it went. Unfortunately they were a bit far away for my lens so I have had to crop the shot really hard which has left it a bit blurry. I blame my equipment.
