Mother's Day

Two cards to open at breakfast this morning, from my two thirty-something children.
We could not see each other today, but technology came to the rescue with texts, phone calls and Skype ! It was great to watch my youngest grandson, aged just five months, eating his supper and smiling at me!
My daughter sent me a gift voucher to have a facial! and my son.....a Blipfoto voucher! They are both quite intrigued with me starting this fotoblog.
It is the first Mother's Day (or Mothering Sunday, as she preferred to call it) without my mother, so it has been a sad one in that respect.
Today was sunny and bright, and full of the promise of spring.
