Drummers Marching in Paris

This is a drumming group celebrating the small Carnaval des Femmes (Carnival of Women) in the Marais, on an overcast afternoon. A bit of the side of the Pompidou Center is visible in the background.

Edit (after dinner): Not much more to say. I expected more from the so-called Carnaval, and I'm not sure what the point of the small parade was. A pity I can't post a video--they would be fully worthy of You Tube, and maybe I'll try that (it would be the first time ever).
