Memorial

I walked down a street today, that I have never been down before and found a nice little park with slide and swings. At the end of the park I noticed an unusual church (which I may blip another day, when the weather is better). Being inquisitive, I went to look. As I got closer, I saw this (sad) statue of a monkey that was obviously a memorial to someone.

Very sad. The garden around it is poorly maintained, but someone had left flowers and cards. Perhaps the day was significant? Or maybe a recent bereavement? It makes you think of your own lost relatives....
