Spaceman

The boy needed collection from uni for Easter. Life's one big holiday. So rather than a 300 mile long distance taxi service, I thought we'd make a day of it. Do something else useful.

So we got up early and stopped on the way at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Wasn't sure what it would be like, because a lot of it is aimed at education and groups from schools. There were a lot of children there, and its was certainly fantastic for them. Like the Science Museum, but more fun! So much to play with, even for big boys! Rockets, satellites, interactive displays, big planetarium, simulations etc.

Followed by a slap up meal late afternoon. Not a bad Saturday!

Didn't feel like blipping yesterday. Sometimes you have an off day, yesterday was mine. But I do have a photo, so I'll sort it tomorrow.
