RACING in the RAIN

Golf canceled today. At last minute, I decided to head to the track. Since this would be my last chance until next year.

Rillito --Cold, windy, miserable. A few jockeys opted out. Track was more churned up than muddy. Horses were more spread out, and few races were close. Most had one horse way ahead. When riders knew they wouldn't place, they pulled up on the horse and trotted to the finish. Anti-climatic.

Spectators were few, but intrusive. Ex.- As soon as horses were off, a woman raised her umbrella- Really -Really.
Last race, a bunch of hooding wearing guys hung over the fence, blocking my view.
I only managed 2 shots.

Worse- My 7D decided to play high strung thoroughbred - refusing to track the riders and going in and out of focus.
