Mechanical Mushrooms

These mechanical mushroom things could save your life. They are to be found in the quarry at Kirriemuir and are there to help vent the build up of gas from the breakdown of a stack of onions that were buried there years ago.

I can think of more glamorous ways to die than from a methane explosion from some decomposed vegetables right enough!

Brulee must be able to smell those tasty fusty onions. Leave it out Brulee, your breath is bad enough without some stinking onions!
