Wigeon

Wigeon males are fantastic looking things. They remind me of mohecan-sporting punk rockers. They rather spoil that image by being very dainty looking ducks with a high pitched whistle! They were the highlight of a coastal bird count today; a difficult procedure given the strong north-west wind that was intent on blowing my telescope over.
