Diary of a Scilly cow

Room with a view

Today we decided to head down the coastline to Blakeney where the intention was to go for a long walk along this stretch of coast. Unfortunately this walk didn't last long, G developed a blister from his boots. Despite plasters and re-arrangements of socks the walk ended and we had to go back to the car for a change of shoes.

We didn't re-commence with our plan but decided to get in the car and travel down the coast to Wells-next-the-sea. Normally I would shy away from the busier more commercialised sea side towns, however it was decided that we would take the long walk down to the sea and beach which was a great decision !
The beach was lovely, a big expanse of sand with a beautifully calm sea and an amazing array of colourful beach huts. I'm not sure how far we walked.......miles......we didn't quite reach Holkham but turned round and walked back through the pine forest.
An absolute gem of a beach !

Walking through Wells to the beach we looked in the window of the estate agents, one of these beach huts was for sale at the sum of about £57,000 earth pounds......there were about two hundred-ish beach huts........you do the maths !!!!
