Ed's Blip

Bristol Temple Meads

It's quite an extravagant building for a station. It looks like it's from a different era and the ticket sales and departures board are still in that era.

I flew back down to Bristol this morning on Easyjet. I'm getting familiar with the airport security rigmarole and find myself thinking like George Clooney in 'Up In The Air' when approaching the x-ray machines. On the flight I just read my book 'A World Of My Own' by Robin-Knox Johnston about his solo circumnavigation and before I knew it we were in Bristol.

It was a lovely sunny morning. On the shuttle bus to Temple Meads I listened to The Bugle podcast. I got the train to Parkway in good time and was in work at 11:05 am after
leaving the house at 6:30am. Not bad.

I have a studio apartment this. week, at my
request given that I didn't like last week's one bed aptmt. It's smaller but much cosier.

Now really tired after my long day travellong and working. In bed for 10pm. I'll sleep well tonight.
