Mickey's Birthday

Orla loves this bedtime game where I use all her cuddly toys to act out something, with Mickey generally being the central character. It's usually Mickey's birthday or Mickey goes to the zoo. This time everyone had to get into position for a big group photo and then Mickey put on a dance show. I only have three nights with her a week now, with me working in Bristol, so I need to play with Orla as much as I can at the weekend.

It was Mothers' Day today and I helped Orla write out a card for Anne. Then I got Orla to sort of help with making a nice breakfast - salmon and scrambled eggs. We went for a drive and had a picnic in the car at the Crow Road car park. Then drive down for a walk along Campsie Glen. Orla really loved throwing stones into the water.

I Skyped Mum on the phone later before Anne's family came round to sample Anne's baking. Ryan has really grown since I last saw him. Looks like a 'bouncing' baby now. He gave everyone lots of smiles.
