Falling
I had a reasonable day at work today, much more energy than yesterday, which is good.
A bit of a rush after school to get to the opening of a photographic exhibition by a French photographer, Michel Birot. I did a bit of networking and looked at some 'rugby' orientated photos, some of which were really rather good. I got a few business cards and spoke lots of French.
Then, I met Aida, another French person, for a glass of wine and some food. It was good to catch up with her and we have made plans to go on a photography 'Field Trip' in the not too distant future as she's keen to learn more about photography. It felt good that she asked me to be the one to help her.
I've just got home to an empty house. Cousteau and Canterbury have gone to the shooting range for a ... well, I guess a shoot.
This statue is of a person dropping his heart. Somehow it spoke to me this evening and I chose it over me looking butch in my boxing gloves.
