Low Level Ecstasy

2nd day of spring and we hit the slopes today. I can't ski at the moment because of an injury but I spent a very pleasant day watching others.

There was lots of action and I took loads of photos but this wee girl caught my eye. For about a quarter of an hour, she slid down this bank and climbed back up again and slid down again and, well, you get the point. She was loving every minute of it and was completely unaware of all the kerfuffle of people skiing and snowboarding around her.

This sheer unabated enjoyment she was experiencing reminded me that sometimes it's the simple things in life that count.
