EQUINOXIAL LEAVES

I know when the Northern Hemisphere has the same amount of light and darkness as the Southern - and thats today -
Its like ( always ) when these leaves turn to about this colour

It's also like I know how far 22 yards is - because its the length of a cricket pitch! I played cricket and used to bowl endlessly at that distance - so I actually know how far 22 yards is !! ( if you know what I mean ?) Help me out here guys - there are some things you just know !! - does anyone else have the same thought about - something they really really know !!
