snowshoeing

Today Renee, friends and I drove to Mount Washington to enjoy the snow. Renee likes cross country skiing as does her friend. Our other friend went downhill skiing. And I went snowshoeing.

I followed a group of women that broke open the snowshoe trail. And I did take my turn wading through knee deep snow.

Weather conditions varied every ten minutes: sunshine, snow, wind and heavy cloud.

Mount Washington is located near the town of Courtenay about a two and half hour drive north from where we live in the town of Duncan.
